Are The Rion electric scooters the fastest in the market? Specs breakdown.

There is a big competition among e-scooters to push the boundaries of what’s traditional, and come up with something unconventional. Today’s electric scooter really challenged the rules! Imagine a 31Kg (69 lbs) carbon fiber e-scooter that has a frame as solid as 40 Kg (88 lbs) one, and a speed same as the fastest e-scooters in the market.

We are talking about the Rion 2 limited edition electric scooters, a similar e-scooter to the Bronco Xtreme 11, however, you get the same performance with a lighter frame. The Rion electric scooter is a racing scooter. Paired with a Dual hub 5000W motor this beast commutes as fast as 100km/h (62 MPH)! I’m not over yet, The Rion has three editions. The Rion 2 RE60S has a 60Mph max speed, RION RE90 racing edition has a 100Mph max speed, and the RION THRUST has a top speed of 80Mph. So basically, the Rion gives you three options to choose from depending on how adventurous you’re.

To power such a beast Rion depends on an 84V lithium battery 25ah 21700 cells. At first, the Rion decided to go with an 18Ah battery, however, they have upgraded it to the 25Ah one to provide a range boost. Now instead of commuting the max range of 30 miles (48Km), you can commute up to 50 miles (80km). Having such a boost gives the Riot a higher value in the market. Moreover, The Rion e-scooter rides quite nicely, it has stiff rear suspension and no suspension at all on the front wheel. Such mechanics are perfect for this e-scooter, as having a soft suspension makes it hard to maneuver the scooter at high speeds.

The overall build of the Rion is solid and will stand the test of time. Everything is built tight and sturdy from the stem to the deck. The Rion is built with carbon fiber which is very strong, yet very light. In addition, The Rion is not missing out on the safe side either, it has front and rear disk hydraulic brakes which are super convenient to control the speed of this rocket. For more safety measures, you can link your phone to the Rion using its app, through the app, you can choose between three-speed mods  Sport, City, and Safe modes. You can also monitor your current speed, battery level, and ride distance. Just slap your phone on the Rion’s phone holder and rock the roads.

The Rion 2 limited edition electric scooters took ordinary kick scooters and pushed them to a new height. Being paired with a strong motor, a powerful battery, and a carbon fiber solid frame. This monster can go very fast shutting down any arguments about whether e- scooters can compete against your favorite motorcycles.
